Alice in Chains grabaran concierto en 3D

El próximo concierto de Alice in Chains el cercano 8 de Octubre en el Key Arena de Seattle, Washington, como parte de la gira BlackDiamondSkye tour, será grabado en 3D según la banda ha publicado en su página oficial de Facebook.
Parece que a los renovados Alice in Chains tambien les pico el bichito de hacer un concierto en 3D a todo trapos, antecendentes tenemos el show de U2 y los pop´s Jonas Brothers.

Fallece Steve Lee, vocalista de Gotthard

Hoy les traigo una mala noticia para todos los hardrockeros y afines del estilo. Steve Lee, quien fue el cantante de la excelente Gotthard, falleciob a los 47 años ayer martes 5 de octubre en un accidente de motos en las proximidades de Las Vegas, según informan en las noticias.

Carts que dejo la banda en su sitio oficial, aún sin traducir:
Dear Fans and Friends, the inconceivable is tragic reality – Steve Lee was killed in an accident yesterday
Steve was killed accidentally during a motorcycle trip in the USA on Interstate 15 between Mesquite and Las Vegas and died at the scene.

The GOTTHARD singer had flown to the U.S. with some biker friends just this weekend to fulfil a long-cherished dream for which he’d never had the time, due to his heavy touring schedule for many years. It was to be two weeks through the states on a Harley Davidson. The 21 Swiss bikers started their journey on Sunday on a total of 12 motorcycles. On Tuesday 5 October, about 50 miles from Las Vegas, the group had stopped at the roadside to put on their rain gear as it had started to rain. On the slippery road, the trailer of a passing truck began to skid. The driver attempted evasive action but his trailer clipped five of the motorcycles parked at the roadside; one of them hit Steve Lee. Rescue services attempted resuscitation but efforts were stopped after 20 minutes. At 16:13 local time, Steve Lee was pronounced dead.
Among the passengers were bassist Marc Lynn and Steve’s partner Brigitte Voss Balzarini. All other fellow riders were unharmed. Steve Lee was 48 years old.

With Steve Lee, we not only lose one of the world's best rock voices but also a good friend who due to his sensitivity and down-to-earth personality always met the people around him with respect.

It will take some time till we fully understand what has happened.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family.

Stéphan Forté Anuncia El Nombre De Su Album Solista, Mas Invitados

Stéphan Forté guitarrista de la banda francesa Adagio se encuentra en estos momentos grabando las guitarras para lo que será su primer album solista instrumental titulado "The Shadows Compendium".
El album esta planificado salir a la venta alrededor de finales de este 2010. Hasta ahora los invitados que se esperan confiramar son Jeff Leoomis (Nevermore) artista de Shrapnel Derek Taylor, Rusty Cooley y de Motorhead Phil Campbell. Algunos otros seran presentados dentro de poco.

El diseñador Perrine Perez Fuentes, que antes habia trabajado para la reedicion del album en vivo "A Band In Upperworld" será responsable de las fotos y el material gráfico del album.

Stéphan: "¡En este momento estoy en medio de las grabaciones de guitarra, hasta ahora esto va muy bien!
Ya recibí el "solo" de invitacion de Dereck, que es desde luego absolutamente insano, muchos fragmentos y la armonía torcida, y pronto recibiré los solos de Jeff y Phil Campbell. Estoy muy honrado de tener a tales amigos talentosos que participan en mi album y estoy desde luego mas que impaciente de oir su material increible. Algunos otros invitados prestgjiosos seran anunciados pronto.

Hasta ahora el album destaca 9 canciones instrumentales, la mayor parte de eso son muy pesadas y por supuesto muy oscuras y el fragmento orientado a la guitarra sabia.

Kevin Codfert manejará la mezcla e impuestos de grabación, y desde luego todos los teclados y partes de piano.

Crashdiet - Generation Wild

Hola Gente!!

El dia de hoy les traigo como recomendacion una banda zueca que realmente les va a gustar mucho su estilo, grandes peinados y una onda muy ruda al estilo de los años 80'.
Esa antigua pero muy presente en la actualidad con la que muchas bandas se hicieron conocidas, les nombro alguna Motorcrue o Bon Jovi en sus comienzos...
Esta banda llamada Crashdiet brindo hace no mas de 2 dias un recital en el conocido bar "The Roxy Live" en el cual tuve la oportinudad de verlos tocar en vivo, y la verdad me quede muy asombrado por el buen recital que dieron, con un boliche lleno de hard rockers y gente glam metal por donde mires realmente muy buena onda los muchachos...

Sin mas preambulos aqui les dejo el cd que vengo a recomendarles hoy titulado "Generation Wild" sacado a la venta este mismo año y que al parecer esta teniendo mucho exito dentro de este estilo de rock.
